Custom Poker Chips - Chip Studio
Your game. Your design. Your chips.
A poker chip design fired permanently into casino-grade ceramic and finished in satin, with every face, color, denomination, and edge design choice in your hands. Open the design studio and build the set exactly as you picture it.
Standard or Premium
Two grades. Both take the same custom artwork.
Standard is authentic ceramic at a price that makes a full set realistic. Ten grams and 39mm, true casino dimensions, with the heft of a chip built for real play. Full-color graphics print across the face and around the rolling edge on a textured ceramic surface that holds sharp detail. It stacks clean, shuffles well, and holds up over time.
Premium; a higher grade of ceramic. A satin finish and a finer surface pull more clarity from the print, holding crisp detail across the full face and rolling edge. It runs denser and more durable, built to take heavy, repeated play and keep its finish.
Every custom chip comes down to five decisions: face, denominations, border, edge, and color.
The Five Elements of a Custom Chip
- Chip color. The base color of the chip, and it carries through the edge. One color per denomination is the classic move: red 5s, green 25s, black 100s.
- Face. The center of the chip. Your artwork, logo, text, and denomination live here.
- Border. The ring around the face. Solid, patterned, bold, thin, or none at all.
- Edge. What everyone sees once the chips are stacked. Two ways to go: aligned, where the design wraps from the face over the rim in one continuous piece, or unaligned, where the edge pattern stands on its own.
- Denominations. How many values, which values, and how many chips of each. Note: 40 chips per denomination minimum per order. A set of $5, $25, and $100 means at least 40 of each. Tip: build one denomination in the studio and describe the color swaps for the rest in your notes.
See Your Chip Before You Buy It
The chip studio is where the design takes on a life of its own. Open it and your chip takes shape in front of you: set the face with a design element or your own image, pick your colors, choose a border, style the edge, drop in a denomination. The options are kept simple on purpose, enough to find your direction without getting lost in endless choices. Everything you see is a starting point. Want diamonds turned into arrows, or dots into sunbursts? The choices are limited only by your imagination. Get a draft you like, then add the rest to your design notes for our artist, or one you source yourself. When it looks right, export the PDF. That single file carries your whole design and your words straight to the artist, and it replaces the long back-n-forth of describing a chip from scratch.
How It Works

Supplying Your Own Artwork
Print-ready files should be Adobe Illustrator (.ai) with all text outlined and colors in CMYK. PDF is accepted. JPG, PNG, and PSD files cannot be used for production. The studio preview accepts JPG and PNG for mockups; these specs apply to final production art only. Working from an idea rather than a finished file? That is what the Custom Design Package is for.
The Fine Print
Artwork must be yours to use. Submitting a design confirms you own it or have permission to print it; copyrighted and trademarked material requires authorization. On color: screens vary, and printed ceramic can differ slightly from what you see in the studio or on your monitor. Your approved proof is the production reference.

FAQs
Are custom ceramic chips the same as Archetype™ ceramic chips?
Our custom ceramic chips, while premium, do not match the Archetype™ line in terms of the ultra-high resolution graphics and chip resistance. However, they are still crafted to a high standard, suitable for players seeking a premium personalized poker experience. The custom chips are designed with your unique specifications in mind, offering great quality and aesthetic flexibility, making them a fantastic choice for those looking to tailor their poker chip set. They offer a significant value by combining customization with the substantial quality necessary for personal or private games, standing out as an excellent option for bespoke chip needs.
Can I get an Archetype™ quality chip customized?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer custom production runs for our Archetype™ chips. This limitation is due to the high volume requirements set by our manufacturing partners, which are necessary to maintain the intricate detailing and high-quality standards of the Archetype™ line.
Who manufacturers these custom ceramic chips?
We consider our manufacturing sources to be one of our competitive advantages, and thus our policy is to not release the identity of any of our manufacturers. We have ceramic poker chip samples available if you would like to see the quality of these ceramic chips for yourself.
Are the custom ceramic chips casino-quality?
While our custom ceramic chips are crafted with high standards and good quality, they do not meet the exact specifications we classify as casino-quality, which is a term we reserve for products like our Archetype™ line. Our custom chips provide robust durability and clear graphic printing, yet they are designed for personal rather than commercial casino use. They offer an excellent balance of quality and value, ideal for those looking to customize their gaming experience. We believe in transparency and honesty about our product classifications, ensuring our customers know exactly what they are purchasing and can find the perfect chips for their needs.
Can I get chips made to look just like existing casinos chips?
No. For obvious reasons you cannot get chips made to look like any existing casino currency.
Can I use a protected and/or copyrighted image on my chip design?
No. No faces, logos, or protected images without the expressed written consent of the owner.
Can I get an exact color match to my artwork?
Achieving an exact color match to your artwork in the final printed chips can be challenging. Colors may appear differently in print than they do on screen or on paper, primarily due to the unique characteristics of the printing process used for ceramic chips. While we strive to get as close as possible, it's common for the colors on the chips to be slightly less vibrant than what you see on your digital display. We work diligently to manage expectations and deliver the best possible color accuracy in all our custom chip designs.
Can I get these faster than 3 weeks if I pay more for a rush job?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a rush job option for our custom poker chips. The process of finalizing designs and moving into production has been optimized to be as quick as possible, but it cannot be expedited by paying extra. Typically, the turnaround time is about 3 weeks, which ensures each set of chips meets our high-quality standards without compromising the end result. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to delivering your custom chips as swiftly as possible.
Does it cost extra to have a different image on both sides of each chip?
No. We do not charge extra for a different image on either side of the chips.
Is there a maximum number of denominations I can get?
Yes. You can get as many as 5 denominations without incurring any extra charges, so long as you have a minimum of 40 chips in each denomination. An additional 5 denominations adds $50 to your order.
